Fire Pro is the regional leader in the design, manufacture,installation, and service of a comprehensive array of networked and integrated fire alarm, suppression, security systems as well as offering a full array of fire equipment services. Our continued success and growth has produced an ongoing need for Fire Alarm System Installers, apprentices and pre-engineered fire system installers. This position is in our Spokane, WA Location.

Journeyman Electrician Pay Range:
Washington State Limited Energy Journeyman Electrician - Spokane, WA Location $16-$21/hr - DOQ

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties include, but are not limited to: installing low voltage wiring and associated devices for the operation of Fire Pro equipment; provide guidance and direction to lower level installers; coordination of installation activities with other trades on job site; availability to work alternative shifts to meet customer installation requirements; perform other duties as directed and deemed necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experienced in low voltage installation, preferably fire alarm installation
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications used in installation activities
  • Experience in meeting with code officials, general contractors, and owners
  • Experience in maintaining job site documentation, i.e. time sheets, As-Built drawings
  • Hand tool, power tool, and multi-meter usage experience
  • Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Must be able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 40 pounds
  • Must be able to perform work in unusual & sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding & high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working in ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
  • Must possess hand tools and multi-meter
  • Should be computer literate

Electrical Apprentice Pay Range:
Apprenticeship program for Limited Energy Electrician - Spokane, WA Location $10-$15/hr - DOQ
Candidate should have desire to work hard, learn about alarm systems, audio/video systems, and security systems. Candidate should also be computer literate, have good public relation skills, be self-starting, have great pride in workmanship and the ability to think-through and solve complex customer issues.

Restaurant Hood Suppression Installer / Service Tech Pay Range:
Liquid & Dry Chemical Fire Suppression Installer / Service Tech - Spokane, WA Location $14-$15/hr - DOQ
Candidate should have prior experience servicing and or installing at least one of the major brand pre-engineered systems Namely: Ansul, Range Guard, PyroChem or Afex systems. Candidate should also be computer literate, have good public relation skills, be self-starting, have great pride in workmanship and the ability to think-through and solve complex issues. Candidate should have desire to work hard, learn about new systems and techniques. Also, must attend periodic training by manufacturer.
